Hola gorgeous Goddess,

Hurrah! It’s that beautiful day of the week again… that ritual of making all or part of my Sunday switched off… logging off my ‘puter and doing some of those things I really wanna do… and just adoring my beautiful goddess life.

Why do I make it a ritual? Because… all of us know it would be better to take time off from being online… but as the days roll by, we forget to do it. By making it a weekly ritual, it becomes part of our gorgeous routine… and becomes integrated into our luscious life.

You can join me by taking off the whole day, the morning, the afternoon or just a couple of hours off from being online.

Welcome back, sacred Sunday!

My plans for my Switch Off Sunday:

This weekend I’m planning on having a gentle, mostly switched off weekend. My sweet love is taking off extra time off work so we can have a long weekend just being together {hurrah!} – I am so in need of some solid I-love-Chris-time right now.

What I need to give myself this weekend is gentleness, restoration and rejuvenation.

So I can get in a mostly switched off weekend, I’m going to finish up my must-do’s this afternoon {I’m a-writing this on a Friday – see?} and leave the could-do’s for another day. My Switch Off weekend is way more important than the could-do’s.

So here’s my list of wild {but gentle} Switch Off possibilities…

MeditatioNap like it’s 1999

Ohhhh yes. Just watch me.

Even more thrilling… Mr Soul-Hunk himself just called me to tell me he managed to find the last of these pillows in town for me.

I think I might just purrrrr like a cat… mmmmmm solid rest! Is it only pregnant goddesses who get their jones on about the perfect pillows, or what? It’s only been recent times since I’ve come waylaid with this affliction… and I’m a-wondering if there is a correlation. hee hee!

Love on this man like it’s 2001

It’s been a really, really intense month for us – a whole bundle of life stuff that hasn’t gone smoothly. It’s slowly getting back to some kind of form of non-nutty, but it’s been pretty exhausting in the process.

So I’m gunna soak up our three days of together-ness this weekend.

Being with my hunk feels like this photo… his love is a soul-cave that helps me rebalance again.

I’m really, really looking forward to that.

Go get some fresh air and open space

A month ago, I had a dream that I went to a friend’s farm, stepped out of the car into the wide open space, and took a deep breath.

And my soul felt at home, like what I needed the most was fresh air and open space around me. It was a feeling of instant relief.

But I kept on putting it off. Kept on ignoring that dream, that need.

I don’t know where we are going to go… but somewhere. Somewhere where there is fresh air and wide open space.

Possibilities for your gorgeous Switched Off Sunday!

You are so welcome to join me in switching off, for the day or the afternoon or two hours… and re-discovering the joys of being switched onto life outside the laptop.

Facebook, Google Reader, Twitter, blogs and your inbox will all be there tomorrow waiting for you. But Sundays are for beautiful recharging 🙂

Here’s some ideas for what to do to make today your own Switch off Sunday:

The Meditationap is your friend.

Have a book picnic in bed. Or even if you need to do some stuff – take it to bed to do. My bed is my favourite workspace!

Divinely declutter a cupboard or shelf. You will feel amazingly lighter!

Write a letter. Or in your journal. Or on your hand. Let your pen fly free!

Study up. Maybe you’re enrolled in a course. Maybe you’ve bought an e-book {or like OMG! a real book!} Maybe you’ve got a course. Maybe you’ve got a pile of study materials you haven’t got around to using yet. Today could be that lovely day of mind-and-soul-expansion!

Something else. Something that’s mindful, and giving you what it is you need right now. You probably aren’t going to find what you are looking for by pressing refresh on your Facebook page to see if anyone has written anything new lately. {I know only coz I have already looked ;)}. Today is the day you can give yourself what you need. I have faith in you!

This is your loving and sacred butt-kicking:
Log off, and give yourself what you need.

love you big time,
