Hola gorgeous Goddess,

Hurrah! It’s that beautiful day of the week again… that ritual of making all or part of my Sunday switched off… logging off my ‘puter and doing some of those things I really wanna do… and just adoring my beautiful goddess life.

Why do I make it a ritual? Because… all of us know it would be better to take time off from being online… but as the days roll by, we forget to do it. By making it a weekly ritual, it becomes part of our gorgeous routine… and becomes integrated into our luscious life.

You can join me by taking off the whole day, the morning, the afternoon or just a couple of hours off from being online.

Welcome back, sacred Sunday!

My plans for my Switch Off Sunday:

This week has been BIG. Ginormous. Full. Last weekend was filled with a Calm Birth workshop, then Chris’ grandmother passed away, and we travelled back to his birth-land for his tribe gathering. We are home now, and have his beautiful parents staying with us. In this moon leading up to Little Mermaid’s birth, everything feels very much about endings, beginnings, transitions, family and land.

What I need to give myself:

I need some time to rest, replenish, stay conscious and keep vitality in my days.

How I can give it to myself:

Meditationapping.

Take time to listen to my Hypnobabies meditation. In bed.

Walk

This lil pregnacious mama goddess is starting to get sore hips as they open out ready for birth.

Walking is part of the healing cure, so a walk around my favourite patch of land, watching the birds, is on the cards.

Simplification-ness

My love & I have been on a kick of letting go of a whole bundle of our possessions… making space for our Little Mermaid to enter… and getting lighter so we can move when spirit calls us.

It feels good… ding dang amazing in fact!

Next step… clear out the kitchen of excess stuff and give away 🙂

Books for the spirit

My hunky spunky found this wee book today in a secondhand bookstore. I’ve only read the introduction and it’s already blown me away. Can anyone say LEONIE IS EXCITED? Leonie is. Me thinks I shall dive more into this.

Write a good todooooodlist.

One that will make me inspired. Umm… actually… maybe we should do this Monday instead? Set our intentions then? Sounds like a plan!

Sacred Sunday is for gorgeous restfulness.

Possibilities for your gorgeous Switched Off Sunday!

You are so welcome to join me in switching off, for the day or the afternoon or two hours… and re-discovering the joys of being switched onto life outside the laptop.

Facebook, Google Reader, Twitter, blogs and your inbox will all be there tomorrow waiting for you. But Sundays are for beautiful recharging 🙂

Here’s some ideas for what to do to make today your own Switch off Sunday:

Get onto your Zen Your Life project for the week… divinely decluttering your wardrobe!

Meditationaps are a gift from God/Great Spirit/ze luminous Goddess!

Use those e-course materials that you haven’t totally soaked up yet.

Have you created a Scrap journal yet? Me thinks you should. I was just showing Chris’ mama the scrap-journal I’ve made for Little Mermaid, and she was in love. So am I.

Something else. Something that’s mindful, and giving you what it is you need right now. You probably aren’t going to find what you are looking for by pressing refresh on your Facebook page to see if anyone has written anything new lately. {I know only coz I have already looked ;)}. Today is the day you can give yourself what you need. I have faith in you!

Oh! And yay! New thing! Because Little Mermaid woke me up at daybreak this morning {I think she is practising belly dancing in there! hee hee!}… I created a masterlist of possibilites! Please sup up & add to as you please!

Need some accountability?

  • Take a pen & paper out and write down how long you will switch off for, and what your glorious possibilities are.
  • Write it out in the Comments Circle & check back in later.
  • Blog about your Switch Off Sunday using the button above.

This is your loving and sacred butt-kicking:
Log off, and give yourself what you need.

love you big time,
