My adventure for today: Finish the box of 40 (forty!) books, CDs, DVDs and computer games I don’t need anymore and send it off. There’s an online service here in Germany that gives you (very little, but hey!) money for that and has those boxes collected right at your door. No more worries, things leave your house and you get a little bit of money. With the money, I can take some yoga classes. Yeah!

Oh goody- the timing of this assignment is *divine*. I was just in the middle of “zen-ing” my crystal collection. And boy does it feel so good!
In general, I am in a major zen-ing my life project thanks to the minimalist goddess post last week. :)
And my thoughts are prayers are with you and your family right now. I send you love and strength comfort and sunshine. I wish you the very best for your big move!!!

Stefanie – that’s such a great idea. Wish we had that here – especially for electricals, which are a total pain to get rid of. Today I will be zen-ing my wardrobe. It’s literally bursting at the seams and I can’t find a damn thing!

Finish tidying my Evernote database! I’m about 3/4 way through.

A database of information is of no use at all if I can’t find what I need with speed & accuracy. So I pared it down by about 25% & now I’m re-tagging everything.

I’m currently stuck with my blog unless I can complete this, totally dependent on the information I’ve put together in my Evernote to function, so it’s a high priority for today.

Today I am tackling one thing at a time instead of trying to do it all at once!

Finish throwing out kitchen gadgets I haven’t used for over a year. I have a box started, and already the kitchen is easier to use without all the geegaws cluttering up the drawers and shelves. Just want to finish the process and take it all to Goodwill. :)

Sending you positive energy for the upcoming move, Leonie. It’s going to be so beautiful.

My day goes something like this.

8:00 a.m. I wake up and do the whole shower get ready thing.
9:00 a..m. I am having a scrambled eggs with a sprinkle of cheese and a piece of toast, made by my mega hubby.
10:00 a.m. My husband and I head to our retail store, where we sell cleaning stuff like vacuums, steamers, bags, belts, filters. While my husband is working on repairs, I am working on the websites.

11:00 a.m. I check my ebay store Ginnyjillb.com where I sell a fabulous long wearing lipstick, plus Go Natural makeup. Package up my orders and get them ready to take to the post office.

Now it’s about 2:00 p.m. I’ve been busy helping customers and today my husband gets to be the one who gets to leave the store and mail our packages. It’s good to have a break.

At 6:00 p.m. we leave to go to our home 10 minutes away (we should walk but don’t) At home my 11 year old daughter and 14 year old son are hungry so we all get busy preparing our evening meal which is noted on a calendar what it is going to be.

The rest of our evening is spent watching t.v., reading, going for a walk, swimming in the pool, or going to the lake to fish or kayak. Every evening I write to my email friend who lives in CA whom I have never met.

Very exciting stuff huh, I remember when I used to spend my days nursing and sleeping too.

Good luck on your move back home Leonie, thank you for sharing so much of your life with us.

how do you know what you need to clear up *today*

twyla, i think it’s about what you FEEL that should be done. like.. what was most avoided -> so you can deal with it today and release the energy… OR something that formed up recently and you know it would be good to get rid of it/ hide it/ give away/ etc..
hope it makes sense ;)
