My work week

Hello, my love!
Let's start with the most important thing
You are not lazy. You are not flaky. You are not “too much” or “not enough” or any of the other things you've been called (or called yourself) at 2am while staring at a half-finished project.
You have a brain that runs on a different operating system. And running a business with it means you've been trying to follow instruction manuals written for a completely different machine. No wonder it hasn't worked.
The business world is full of advice for tidy, linear, consistent brains. Lovely if that's you. Utterly useless if it isn't. So this little book is the opposite: a guide to building your business around your brain instead of fighting it.
Inside the free ebook
What's in the book
Grab a cuppa (and probably a snack, because you forgot lunch again, didn't you?). Let's do this.
What's going on in that glorious brain
Time blindness, the shiny idea magnet, hyperfocus, the wall of awful, rejection sensitivity and boom-and-bust energy, and the flip side of every one.
Eight ADHD-friendly ways to run your business
Each one with a Try This you can do this week.
Three worksheets
The Shiny Idea Parking Lot, My Energy Map, and My Dopamine Menu with an ADHD-friendly week planner.
Yours for $0, because done is a love language.
The good stuff
Eight ADHD-friendly ways to run your business
- 01
Build on interest, not willpower
Willpower is a terrible fuel for an ADHD brain. Interest is rocket fuel.
- 02
Make everything smaller
Tiny steps create tiny wins, and tiny wins create dopamine, which creates momentum.
- 03
Make time visible
Clocks, timers, colour-blocked calendars, sticky notes the size of your face. Whatever works.
- 04
Never work alone (if you don't want to)
Body doubling is the magic trick nobody told you about.
- 05
Give your shiny ideas a parking lot
Your ideas are wonderful. They just need somewhere safe to wait while you finish the thing.
- 06
Outsource your kryptonite
Paying someone to do it is not a luxury. It's maths.
- 07
Work in seasons, not hustle
Sprint seasons, maintenance seasons, and rest seasons that are planned, not stolen from a crash.
- 08
Make it fun. On purpose.
For an ADHD brain, fun isn't the opposite of productivity. It's the way in.
Is this you?
This ebook is for you if…
You've got seventeen browser tabs open, four abandoned course ideas, and a planner you used with great enthusiasm for exactly nine days.
You can't make yourself send a two-line invoice, but you can build an entire website at midnight because you got a spark.
Deadlines feel imaginary right up until they're on fire.
Small admin tasks pile up until opening your inbox feels like defusing a bomb.
You've been called “too much” or “not enough” (or called yourself that at 2am).

Kind words
