Dearests,
At Christmas, a wombat adopted our suburb.
She wandered in from the nature reserve, very unwell from an infected dog bite. Somehow she knew she needed people to heal.
Immediately, people sprang into action. A wombat rescue group came to treat her. She was in a bad state, but their care facilities were at capacity. It was decided that her best hope for survival was to allow her to stay in the suburb with everyone caring for her.
So that is what we did. She was free to wander, and we all did what we could to care for her.
Walkers kept an eye on her movements, posting condition and location updates daily. People painted “Slow Down for Wombat” signs around the streets. People placed water bowls out for her. Volunteers continued her medical treatment. Mums and their children slowed traffic to let our wombat friend wander to her next favourite house’s lawn to munch on.
Each day, it’s a delightful surprise at who woke up with a wombat in their garden. It’s the highlight of my day to get her updates. She has recovered beautifully and touched so many hearts as she ambles along.
Most of all she has restored my faith in humanity and love. This injured wild thing who trusted us enough to care for her. That together, healing miracles can happen.
She hasn’t been seen the last few days. The rain has finally come, and the grass has started to green on the hills and creeks around us.
She might be back. Or she might be fully healed and ready to return herself to a quiet burrow. We will miss the daily updates, the everyday magic of a wild animal who chose us all for a while.
In the meantime though, a walker has posted a new sighting. Another wombat out in the paddock, a different wombat. This one suffering from mange. The calls are made, volunteers are organised. The humans do what humans are born to: love and help.
It’s felt like such a beautifully full and fulfilling two weeks.
First running my 2026 Dreaming Party workshop here in Canberra. What a gift to circle together with so many beautiful souls, including ones who drove for hours to be there!
Then last week was spent preparing and sharing all the big changes, price drop & new offerings for 2026. Thank you so much for all your loving enthusiasm. Gosh it’s brought me an incredible amount of joy! I love that the changes have resonated so much with you all!
And this week has been spent settling lots of new members into the Academy, Take Action Club & Grow Mastermind. I have to admit… I still get a little nervous before I begin a new mastermind. And then Tuesday we dove into four hours of mastermind calls, and they felt like a revelation. As natural as breathing, as easy as loving.
And then such a blessing to receive feedback like this:
This weekend I have big plans: deep restoration after some very full weeks. Reading Ali Hazelwood’s new gamer romance book. Prepping my eldest daughter for school camp. She’s heading off to the alpine mountains for 5 days of hiking and canoeing. Can you believe my tiny beautiful baby is big enough to do that? WILD.
School camp is her favourite thing in the world. Not because she likes camping or adventures. But because “everyone just bonds so deeply at camp, Momma.” For an emotional barometer like her, if it deepens connections for the whole ecosystem, it is the highlight of her year.
What a revelation this kid is. How did I get so lucky?

May your days be gentle & blessed.
May you know your work and spirit is needed in this world.
May you receive the grace and soul sustenance you need to keep stepping up and shining your light.
May you know love is the most powerful force of all.
Together, onwards.
All my love,
