on the rocks, photographing my elvin priestess old soul friend,
she told me she was proud of me.
for buying a camera and photographing women and being brave
and doing what i was doing.

my heart sang songs
because of her words.

i am proud of me too.

leonie, i love the way you capture the beauty of the women you photograph. for me there’s a unity and a separation of both strength and fragility in the women in the photos. i believe the word is dichotomy. they are stunning. i thank you for your bravery and offer you my encouragement.
