I’ve spoken before over + over about what it means to be a creative mother.
I had so few role models of mamas who had passions outside of mothering, and it took me a long time in mothering to start reconciling and accepting that I would always be an arist.
It’s a relief to watch this 10 minute short from an upcoming documentary “Lost in Living.”
Women with passions who also happen to be mothers.
It made me exhale and say
“Ohhhhhh. Ohhhh good. It’s not just me. It wasn’t just me all along.”
It resonated with me. Felt it might resonate with you too.
