Hola gorgeous Goddess!
Hurrah! It’s that beautiful day of the week again… that ritual of making all or part of my Sunday switched off… logging off my ‘puter and doing some of those things I really wanna do… and just adoring my beautiful goddess life.
Why do I make it a ritual? Because… all of us know it would be better to take time off from being online… but as the days roll by, we forget to do it. By making it a weekly ritual, it becomes part of our gorgeous routine… and becomes integrated into our luscious life.
You can join me by taking off the whole day, the morning, the afternoon or just a couple of hours off from being online. Write down now how long is the perfect time for you to “Switch Off”.
Facebook, Google Reader, Twitter, blogs and your inbox will all be there tomorrow waiting for you. But Switch off Sundays are for beautiful recharging 🙂
Here’s my plans for my Switch Off Sunday…
Today, I’m not taking the whole day off. Just a couple of hours – because that’s what feels right for me. That’s what feels comfortable & do-able & true… and that’s the important thing.
And I’m not making big goals for me today… just intentions for my day.
Replenishment. Restoration.
Warding off burn-out.
Staying cool from our hot summery day.
Feeling rejuvenated.
This might end up looking like watching a movie. Maybe reading. Maybe just kind of… being, instead of doing.
I’m not sure yet.
I just want to feel good from it.
Some glorious things you can do this Switch off Sunday:
- Create your gorgeous goddess goals for 2010!
(Tea Priestess‘ photo of her Goddess Workbook goals) - Give yourself what you need:
Is it rest?
Silence?
Connection?
Laughter?
Creativity?
Cave Time? - Pimp your pinboard!
- Go for a walk or take a meditation-nap with your iPod playing some meditations
- Journal like a hot journalling goddess
- What’s that thing you’ve been meaning to do for ages now?
It’s time!
Time to switch off… and soak in this shiny, shiny day. What glorious things can you make/see/play/do today?
Get out a pen and paper… write them down… dream and play!
love you shiny sweetness!
P.S. Just *SEVEN* days until Term 2 of Goddess School begins!
