2014 Dreams of Dreaming Together

2014 dream extravaganza

magda-pecsenyeG’day darlinghearts!

Today’s guest post is by the fabulous Magda Pecsenye.  I’ve been a big fan of Magda for a long time. Her parenting blog AskMoxie was one of the biggest sanity-savers and heart-healers for me when I was going through Post Natal Depression. I’m forever thankful for her work in the world.

Magda believes that you’re the best parent for your child, and that you know what’s right for you (even if you haven’t spoken it to yourself yet). She lives in Michigan with her kids and cats.

As you know, I very rarely accept guest posts, but each year I like to invite some gorgeous, passionate, inspiring women to share their new year dreams, goals + miracles.

The more we hear of women dreaming big dreams and making them happen, the more it will become the “new normal” and fuel us to do just the same.

Introducing dear Magda!

Better Together: Doing Leonie’s Workbook Individually Together

You are the best parent for your child. And you’re great exactly the way you are.

That’s what I believe about people, that we’re all just who we’re supposed to be, and that we all already have what we need in us to be the people we want to be, and to be the parents we want to be to our kids.

2013 goals

And that’s why I love love love Leonie’s Create Your Amazing Year workbooks. I’ve been looking for a goal-making tool for my readers for years (we’ve been doing informal New Year “Year in Review” and “Resolutions” posts for years, with people leaving their reviews and plans in the comments). But everything I was finding seemed to be too focused on making us Better People. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with us. Yes, we may have some problems we haven’t figured out yet, or some things we haven’t learned. But I think we’re already pretty great, and just need some encouragement and focus to be able to do whatever we want to do.

So here came Leonie’s lovely workbooks, telling us that we’re allowed to have our own dreams and goals, and we don’t have to become Better People to achieve them.

Just write them down and do it.

I loved it, despite the sparkle. I am not a sparkly person. Not woo-woo at all. I love structure, and paradigms, and models. But all the sparkle and fun freed me up to identify what I wanted and was afraid to admit to myself because they didn’t seem official or serious enough.

This, to me, is the coolest part: I started a closed Facebook group for my readers who were doing the 2013 Your Incredible Year workbook. It became an incredibly supportive group, in which someone would say “I’m not sure I can…” and everyone responded “Of course you can!”

Out of that group people have:

  • started a business
  • written a fiction book in an hour a day before work every morning
  • increased her business 300%
  • surrounded themselves with creative people
  • found a job that’s the right fit, after looking for the right job for several years

We’re all busy working on the 2014 Create Your Amazing Year workbook in the group right now, and I know I can’t even predict what’s going to happen for the people in the group.

I can, however, predict what’s going to happen for ME, since I’m the one creating my own goals with the workbook.

My sacred words for the year are “love” and “build.”

2014 sacred words

Last year in my personal life I wanted my year to be about opening up emotionally, and that happened in spades, so this year I want to go deeper.

I’m having a necklace made with my two words on a charm.

(Build is on the other side of love)

I spent last year creating a solid foundation of offerings for my readers across all areas of being-a-person-who’s-a-parent:

  • parenting,
  • work/life support
  • divorce support
  • Christmas support.

This year I’m building from that foundation and spreading out, to more places and formats.

The first big project I’m working on for 2014 has been on my mind for months, but I broke it out into steps in my goals book, and will be starting a few weeks into January: Sending out–in my weekly email–the step-by-step process for clarifying your priorities as a person to define your core values as a parent.

It’s felt like a big undertaking, but once I wrote it down in the workbook it all started coming together!

Thank you Magda for sharing this with us. I am so grateful you are you.

And I love thinking of all of you in there supporting each other as you share your dreams and goals for 2014!

Here’s to an amazing 2014 for you all!

All my love,

2014 Dreams Of A Dream-Makin’ Powerhouse!

2014 dream extravaganza

katloterzoG’day darlinghearts!

Today’s guest post is by my dear friend Kat Loterzo. Kat is an entrepreneur, author, speaker and dream life creation coach to driven women like you! She has been featured in numerous international publications and currently resides in various locations around the world, living her dream.

She’s one of the most energetic, passionate women I know. Me and my husband like to joke that we live at snail’s pace compared to dear Kat – she’ll have gone for a run, meditated, popped into a cafe, done some journalling and writing all before we’ve had breakfast! Ha!

Introducing dear Kat!

Dreaming Time Is Part Of My Success

Do you ever dream? Do you ever sit and just let your thoughts run wild and then focus and then fly as you imagine what your life will be like ‘one day’ when all is right, in alignment, and just as it should be?

I want to tell you about something which is one of the most important and transformative tools I have ever come across. Also one of the most fun!

I credit my business and my life success to the fact that I know how to dream big and dream hard. In fact, I can say with certainty that every amazing thing I enjoy in my life now was first experienced in my daydreams and journal!

Leonie’s 2014 Create Your Incredible Year Workbook, planner & calendar is an incredibly popular & useful tool to help you plan out & make happen your most incredible year in life or business (or both!). Over the last four years, thousands of women have used this workbook with the most amazing results. It’s the best planning tool available to help you make this year your most exceptional  year yet!

This is a must-have if you’re also a planner and dreamer like me; I’ve already had so many lightbulb moments about what I am going to create in 2014!

For less than the cost of a breaky out, these workbooks are an essential gift to give to your bestest most favourite girlfriend – that’s YOU beautiful!

I’ve been dreaming a lot lately. Today in particular has been a big dreaming day for me.

But I’m not dreaming of one day. I’m dreaming of a life where dreams come true now.

Where I work as I choose.

Play anytime.

Live in my perfect home. With my perfect office. Doing my perfect job, the job I am born to do and that I love and also love to do.

Can you imagine living that way? Do you realise it can be real?

(Yes. I do mean for you.)

Here’s some of my big 2014 dreams:

  • I’m dreaming of letting go of the need to be busy all the time. Frantic. And overworked.
  • Letting go of the idea that to be successful, wealthy, and free I need to pay a big price.
  • I’m dreaming of making twice the money in half the time.
  • Of creating a business that helps thousands and thousands of women to live their best lives.
  • I’m dreaming of being a multi-published best-selling author on Amazon.
  • Of having frequent romantic dates with my husband.
  • Of having each morning just for me. To read and to journal and to write and to ponder.
  • Of spending more time outdoors exercising, more time outdoors in general.

My dreams are not just dreams, but they are also strategies. Step by step plans that I can and will follow.

I’ve mapped out exactly what 2014 is going to be about. Which gifts I will give myself this year. What I give myself permission to do, or not to.

How I will live.

How I will feel.

Have you mapped out your year yet? Do you dare to dream as big as big can be? To CHOOSE the future you are already creating?

Stay with me for a moment. I’ll share how I’m doing it. It’s too good to miss, too important to pass over, too awesome to ignore.

I’ve planned my goals for:

  • my finances,
  • my body,
  • my family and friends,
  • my business,and
  • my personal life.
  • And even my goals that are so big and scary and yet awesome that I hardly even dare to write them down.

But I have, nonetheless.

These goals are becoming real, because I’ve recorded them. Broken them down. Made them actionable.

I’ve surrounded them with affirmations, with mottos, with reminders of why I know I will live an amazing year in 2014. Why I am worthy of this.

And how I will make it happen by pressing play now.

I’m dreaming of a life in which everything is in alignment. In flow. And completely by design.

I’m dreaming, and as I dream and strategise and plan and smile over what I’ve written and the audacity of some of my goals and desires, I’m starting to feel that it’s already becoming real.

I’m noticing the sense of tightness and the cloud of constant ‘have to’ lifting from my shoulders.

I’m seeing myself getting rid of the things that are not my best work or not what I love to do.

I’m less busy already.

But more in tune.

More in love with the life I want to live.

You have the power to live this way.

You are worthy of living your most incredible year ever this year.

And you can choose to make it happen starting now.

Do you feel how real this can be?

How to Dream + Design your Amazing Life in 2014

You know me – I’m a dreamer and a planner and a vision-maker by nature. I’m also a learner, and a success copycat when need be.

My dreaming, my planning and strategising, my creation of my amazing 2014? It hasn’t come purely from my own thoughts and fantasies.

It’s come from using this workbook.

I read every word this woman writes. She lives the dream in her business and life. I know this for a fact, as I’ve been honoured enough to stay in her home.

Leonie’s Amazing Biz and Life workbooks and calendars will cost you less than buying a blank journal. They will literally transform the way you live and work in 2014.

Leonie’s work will gift you so many thoughts and ideas and questions to ask and journaling exercises and beauty and ability to believe in your best life, that you’ll wonder how you ever got through a year without it. The design alone is enough to get the creativity and dreaming flowing in a big way :)

Don’t be fooled into thinking this is a resource purely for dreaming.

This is a tool to Make. Shit. Happen.

To live your dreams. Your best life. You know – to press play, now.

Create your Amazing Year in 2014, and if you like Your Incredible Biz while you’re at it.

I am :)

After all –

Life is Now. Press Play.

Ahhh Kat girl, I do love you.

I always feel like I get an injection of supercharged WOO! energy whenever I read anything you’ve written or talked to you!

Let’s go make that shit happen!

All my love,
